BuildCores 3D SDK 1.0 Is Available Now
Bring interactive 3D PC building to your own platform.
BuildCores 3D SDK 1.0 is available now. Retailers, hardware brands, and system builders can bring an interactive 3D PC builder directly to their own websites and platforms.
We built SDK 1.0 to help teams deliver a best-in-class 3D building experience while keeping control of their storefront, product selection, pricing, and checkout.
With SDK 1.0, you can:
- Show complete PC builds in interactive 3D. Give shoppers a way to explore a configuration from different angles, directly inside your buying experience.
- Connect your existing product picker. Load your selected components into the viewer and update the PC as shoppers change parts.
- Use our extensive 3D and product spec catalog. Use over 5,000 3D models and over 30,000 fully verified spec data to make sure customers have accurate information.
- Bring lighting and cooling choices to life. Offer RGB customization and fan or radiator configuration where supported by the selected models.
- Use built-in controls or create your own. Start with the embedded editor, or drive the viewer programmatically from controls that match your platform.
- Keep configurations with the shopping journey. Export a PC configuration for your application to store with a cart or session, then restore it when the shopper returns.
The SDK works alongside your existing commerce platform. Keep your product catalog, merchandising, prices, and checkout while BuildCores supplies the hosted 3D rendering, massive 3D database of products, and the browser SDK that connects the experience to your application.
For teams that already have a configurator, this means adding a live 3D view to the flow customers already use. For teams building a new experience, the built-in editor provides a starting point for product pages, custom PC builders, and branded configuration tools.
Developers can get started with a hosted JavaScript module and an iframe. No React integration or frontend package installation is required. Your backend manages secure viewer access, and your application maps its products to BuildCores part IDs. You can load a PC directly from those parts without first creating a saved BuildCores build.
Our SDK 1.0 documentation includes the browser quickstart, backend authentication guide, catalog mapping instructions, SDK reference, and a complete sample application.
We are inviting retailers, hardware brands, and system builders to explore what 3D can bring to their own platforms. Whether you want to add a viewer to an existing store or develop a new PC configuration experience, we would love to hear what you are building.
