BuildCores Beta v0.62 adds more 3D parts alongside more ways to refine your setup (and mobile app support for Setup Builder)!

What's New

Setup Builder comes to mobile

BuildCores on iOS (and android soon) now features full 3D setup editing. Create your desk setups and share them on your phone! We've also significantly improved the mobile app renderer to use the same one as the website so it is now fully featured. This means you can see AIO tubes, SignalRGB effects, and more on your mobile app. Let us know if you have any bugs.

Smarter Monitor Arms and VESA Mounting

Newly added monitor arms can automatically attach to the first compatible desk clamp surface on supported models.

Monitors also show or hide their removable VESA adapters automatically as you switch between an included stand and a matching VESA mount.

Fixes and Quality-of-Life Improvements

  • The custom display media library now supports 150 files per account, up from 50. The existing 250 MiB storage limit and individual upload limits are unchanged.
  • Part-picker pagination returns to the top of the new results page, with clearer category-specific titles.
  • Products without an actual model asset no longer advertise an empty 3D viewer.
  • Partial PC builds without a selected case no longer show a misleading unsupported-case warning.
  • Setup movement saves more reliably, including the first movement that begins a drag.
  • More reliable modular visibility controls, including keyboard keycaps, and better preservation of saved layouts when a model's internal hierarchy changes.
  • Service outages now show an availability message and Retry instead of incorrectly treating a saved login as invalid.
  • Markdown build and setup exports link product names to your region's BuildCores pages, without affiliate URLs in the price column.
  • Supported prices and price history remain available when an unknown retailer offer cannot be displayed. Retailer matching and availability handling have also been improved.
  • Improved dark-mode region selector colors, share-card clarity, and display fallback behavior.
  • Removed auto build on the site as we work on accuracy improvments.
